Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 · Last updated: October 31, 2026
Hey Teco is a platform operated by AM CAPITAL GROUP CORP, a United States company (Miami, Florida), that lets businesses handle the messages and comments they receive on their social networks, their website and their messaging channels, with the help of an artificial intelligence assistant named Teco. In this policy, «we» means AM CAPITAL GROUP CORP.
1. Who is responsible for the data
- Hey Teco account data (businesses and their team, and visitors to heyteco.com): AM CAPITAL GROUP CORP processes it as the controller.
- Data of the people who write to those businesses (their customers): we process it on behalf of the business the person wrote to, which is the controller of that data. We follow its instructions and use the data only to provide the service to it.
2. What data we process
- From businesses that use Hey Teco: business name, contact details of the person in charge and of their team (name, email, language), the password (stored only as an encrypted hash), the accounts and pages the business connects (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Calendar and others), and the information the business uploads so Teco can answer (frequently asked questions, prices, hours, documents).
- From people who write to those businesses: the content of messages, comments, voice notes and files, the profile name or phone number they write from, and the date and channel they came through.
- Acceptance record: when someone accepts these documents we store who, when, which version they accepted, in which language, and the IP address only as an encrypted digest and masked (for example 190.12.x.x), never in full.
- Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store the card number: only the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe gives us, the plan, the amounts and the status of payments.
- From visitors to heyteco.com: site usage data with Google Analytics, only if the visitor accepts it (section 8), and whatever they write in the contact form.
- Technical logs: for security (for example, limiting sign-in attempts) we keep identifiers and encrypted digests, without phone numbers, email addresses or full names.
3. What we use it for
- So the business can see and answer its conversations in a single inbox.
- So Teco can answer with the information the business uploaded and alert a person when it does not know the answer.
- So the business can follow up with its contacts and appointments.
- To charge for plans, give notice of pending payments and handle claims.
- To operate, protect and improve the platform, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We do not use a business's customer messages for any purpose other than serving that business.
4. Artificial intelligence: people are answered by an AI
Conversations with the businesses that use Hey Teco are answered first by Teco, an artificial intelligence assistant, not by a person. Teco says so: the website chat shows a fixed notice, and on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, email and comments Teco introduces itself as an artificial intelligence assistant in its first message of each conversation (or the first one after 24 hours). If someone asks whether it is a person, it tells the truth. When needed, or if the person asks, it hands the conversation over to someone on the business's team.
To prepare each reply, the text of the conversation (and, if there is one, the voice note to transcribe) is sent to the artificial intelligence models in section 7, only to generate that reply. Teco's replies may contain mistakes. Hey Teco does not use conversations to train generalized artificial intelligence models. When a team member corrects or completes a reply, Teco may suggest the business save that information (without personal data) to answer better next time; that stays within the same business.
5. Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)
Hey Teco accesses pages, accounts and WhatsApp numbers only when the business connects and authorizes them, through Meta's official interfaces and with the permissions Meta approves. We use that access only to receive and answer messages and comments, publish content the business approves, and show the business its metrics. The business can disconnect its accounts at any time from its dashboard or from its Meta settings. To ask us to delete the data we receive from Meta, follow section 12.
6. Google services (Sign in with Google, YouTube and Google Calendar)
Hey Teco uses Google's official interfaces only when you choose to use one of these features. This is what we receive from Google in each case:
- Sign in with Google. If you sign in to the dashboard with your Google account, Google shares
your name, your email address and your Google account identifier with us (
openid, emailandprofilepermissions). Theprofilepermission also includes your profile photo, but Hey Teco does not store or use it. We use your email address to find your Hey Teco account and we store the Google identifier to recognize you next time. If you do not have an account yet, we show you a short screen with your name already filled in (you can change it), your business name and your country; when you accept, your account is created with that email address along with a business on the free trial plan, and your name becomes your account name. We do not store any Google token for this sign-in. - YouTube. If a business owner connects their YouTube channel, Hey Teco asks for a single
permission (
youtube.force-ssl, which allows viewing, editing and deleting comments). With it we read the channel's name and identifier, the list of its recent videos and the comments on those videos, to show them in the business's inbox; we post the replies written by the business's team or by Teco (Teco only if the owner expressly authorized it); and we hide, show or delete a comment when the business asks us to. We do not upload, change or delete videos. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google handles that data under its Privacy Policy. - Google Calendar. If the business connects its Google Calendar so Teco can book appointments,
we ask for three permissions: see the list of calendars (
calendar.calendarlist.readonly), to choose which one to use; see free/busy availability (calendar.freebusy), without seeing the content of events; and create, change and delete events only in the calendars the business owns (calendar.events.owned). With them Teco offers free time slots and creates, moves or cancels the appointments it books. If the customer left their email address, the business can invite them to the event.
How we use this data. Only to provide the features you asked for: signing in to the dashboard, handling YouTube comments and booking appointments. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising purposes and we do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models. To prepare a reply, the text of a comment or conversation goes through the artificial intelligence models in section 7, only to generate that reply. No one at Hey Teco reads this data, except with your consent, for security (for example, to investigate abuse) or to comply with the law.
How we store it and for how long. YouTube and Google Calendar access tokens are stored encrypted and never appear in technical logs. Stored YouTube comments are deleted after 30 days. When YouTube is disconnected, we revoke the permission at Google and delete the tokens and all of the business's YouTube data. When Google Calendar is disconnected, we revoke the permission at Google and delete the tokens; events already created remain in your Google calendar. The Google identifier from "Sign in with Google" is kept while the account is active.
How to remove access and ask us to delete your data. You can disconnect YouTube or Google Calendar whenever you want from the Hey Teco dashboard. You can also remove Hey Teco's access from your Google Account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete your data, write to us as described in section 12.
Hey Teco's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Providers that process data for us
We use these third-party services to operate. Each one processes data under its own terms and, in what it does for us, under our instructions:
- Anthropic (Claude): the platform's main artificial intelligence model, which Teco uses to prepare replies.
- Google (Gemini): artificial intelligence to transcribe voice notes, search the web when the business turns it on, search the business's information by meaning, and as a fallback if the main model fails.
- OpenAI: only if the business adds its own OpenAI key (or its own Anthropic key, which is then used instead of ours). In that case, that provider processes the data under the business's own contract with it.
- Stripe: processes card payments, invoices and the portal where the business changes its card or cancels its plan.
- Google Workspace (Gmail and Google Drive): sending the platform's emails (notices, sign-up and password links) and backup copies.
- Meta: receives and delivers the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messages and comments of the businesses that connect them.
- Google (YouTube and Calendar), TikTok and X: only when the business connects those accounts.
- Hosting: our own server (VPS) on Oracle Cloud, which we manage ourselves; domain names and site protection on Cloudflare. Until it is shut down, the previous server (HostGator) may keep copies of older data.
- Google Analytics: measuring visits to heyteco.com, only with permission (section 8).
We are a United States company and most of these providers are too. If you write from another country, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in the countries where those providers operate, in order to provide the service.
8. Cookies and data in your browser
- Necessary (always on): the Hey Teco dashboard uses a session cookie to know you signed in and another one that remembers the last business you used. The chat on websites stores a random number in your browser to keep your conversation, and the site stores the language you chose. Without these the service does not work.
- Measurement (only if you accept): heyteco.com uses Google Analytics (ID G-60KRL3X38F) to know how many people visit, which pages they see and where they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and Google handles that data under its own policy. It only loads if you tap «Accept» in the cookie notice; if you tap «Reject», it does not load. It is not used in the businesses' dashboard or in the chat on their websites.
You can change your choice at any time: change my cookie choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
9. How long we keep data
- Conversations are kept while the business keeps its account active, because they are its service history. The business can delete a conversation from its dashboard.
- When the account is closed, the business's data is deleted within 90 days at most, except what the law requires us to keep.
- YouTube comments, 30 days (section 6).
- Records of sign-in and sign-up attempts, between 1 and 2 days.
- The acceptance record of these documents and payment data, while the account exists and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example, for taxes or claims).
- Backup copies are replaced over time; what is deleted disappears from them as they are renewed.
10. Security
Access keys and tokens of connected platforms are stored encrypted. Passwords are stored only as an encrypted hash. Technical logs do not include phone numbers, email addresses or full names. Access to the dashboard requires a username and password, or signing in with a Google account, has a limit on sign-in attempts, and each business sees only its own data.
11. Your rights
If you are the person in charge of a business or part of its team, you can ask to access your data, correct it, export it, delete it or object to a use, from the dashboard or by writing to us (section 15). We reply within 30 days and we will not treat you differently for asking. If you live somewhere with its own privacy laws (for example, California or the European Union), you also have the rights those laws give you.
If you wrote to a business that uses Hey Teco, your request should go to that business, which is the controller of your data; we will carry it out on its instruction. If you write to us directly, we will pass it on.
12. Data deletion
To request deletion of your data, write to [email protected] stating the business and the channel you wrote through (or, for your Hey Teco account or a Google service you connected, the account's email address). We will confirm the deletion within 30 days. This also applies to the data we receive from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
13. Minors
Hey Teco is a service for businesses and is not directed at people under 18. If a business tells us a minor wrote to it, we help it delete that data.
14. Changes
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with its number and date. If the change is significant, we ask you to accept the new version when you sign in to the dashboard, and a record is kept.
